What Do You Inspect?

NYS defines a home Inspection as the process by which a home inspector observes and provides a written report of the systems and components of a residential building including but not limited to:

  • Heating System
  • Cooling System
  • Plumbing System
  • Electrical System
  • Structural Components – foundation, roof masonry structure, exterior and interior components or any other related residential building component recommended by the Home Inspection Council and implemented by the Department of State through the regulatory process.

That may sound simple, but there is a lot to it! Our list has nearly 1,000 points which we check and report on, as needed. Our main purpose is to objectively report on meterial defects which negatively impact the home in the key areas, safety, repairs & maintenance.

How Do You Report?

We use reporting software which includes both pictures and a narrative. The report is broken down by components of the house and is concise, detailed and easy to comprehend.

How Much Does it Cost?

There are many different services we provide. Generally speaking, we have competitive rates with exceptional results.
