Asbestos Surveying and Sampling

Asbestos is a naturally occurring material. Prior to asbestos’ shunning due to being linked with major lung diseases and cancer, it was touted for it’s incredible properties used not only in building materials but even socks and cigarette filters (wow)! A town called Asbestos, in Quebec Canada was once home to the largest asbestos mine in the world and the town is considering renaming.

Now, you have found yourself here presumably to have an asbestos survey. Maybe you are demolishing an old camp to build your dream home, or maybe you need to renovate your house for one reason or another. Maybe you’re just curious and simply want to know if your house has asbestos containing building materials (ACBMs). We follow EPA’s guidelines for bulk sampling to minimize cross contamination and from fibers becoming airborne.
